District Phones, Internet Restored At Bridgewater-Raritan Schools

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — A service disruption that plagued the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District since Monday was restored on Thursday.

“As of today, December 15th, we are pleased to announce that District phones, email, internet, and wifi service have been restored,” said Superintendent of Schools Robert Beers in a community update on Thursday.

In Beers’ letter, he noted that the district experienced a service disruption on Monday requiring some components of the computer systems to be taken offline.

“I want to thank the entire school community for their patience and cooperation during this unprecedented disruption. We applaud the efforts and expertise of our staff, especially the tireless
work of our technology department,” said Beers.

The cause of the disruption is still under investigation.
